The PHIDDLEHARMONIC plays the Southern California area with spirited
performances of traditional bluegrass and fiddle music. Centered on the virtuoso
fiddle playing of the band's leader, Miss Patsy Spears, a variety of tunes are mastered.
Tunes like hoe-downs, reels, hornpipes, rags and waltzes are served up. Patsy
arranges and conducts this versatile "Bluegrass Orchestra" -- Hence the name
PHIDDLEHARMONIC. Popular songs like "Uncle Penn", "Rocky Top",
"Foggy Mountain Breakdown" and "Orange Blossom Special" are capably
performed with her energetic group.
The
Phiddleharmonic has entertained at the Cucamonga Grape Festival, La Quinta Arts Festival,
Raging Waters, L.A. County Fair, Chaffey and Claremont Colleges, Fourth of July
celebrations, as well as community fund raisers, private parties and festivals. They
are well known for hand clappin', toe tappin', wholesome "All American"
entertainment. |
